As Americans across the nation gather with friends and family to celebrate Thanksgiving, their homes have to accommodate all of the activities that accompany the holiday, from cooking and eating, to hanging out, watching TV, playing games, and sleeping, often stretching a home beyond its usual limits. Housing Design Matters takes a look at Thanksgiving from an architect’s perspective, so you can prepare your home for an enjoyable turkey day.
