Registration has begun for the 2022 World of Asphalt Show & Conference and AGG1 Academy.
The event will be March 29-31 at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Organizers expect 500 exhibitors to show their products for the asphalt paving and aggregates industries. The show typically draws 10,000 attendees.
This will be the first World of Asphalt since 2019. This year’s show was canceled due to the pandemic.
“After a three-year absence due to the pandemic and an intense national debate about the future of infrastructure, the 2022 show may be the most important World of Asphalt ever,” said Dr. Audrey Copeland, president and CEO of the National Asphalt Pavement Association, majority owner of the show. “With the last show in 2019 and the next one in 2024, you don’t want to miss this timely opportunity to grow and connect with your peers in the asphalt pavement industry.”
World of Asphalt is traditionally held every year except years when ConExpo is held. The next ConExpo is slated for 2023. Along with NAPA, show owners are the Association of Equipment Manufacturers and the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association.
Attendees can select from a variety of badge options for access to the show, including an All-Access Badge. The All-Access Badge allows admittance to all three days as well as up to 10 concurrent education sessions.
Along with registration starting for the show, attendees can also sign up for education sessions, which cover such topics as people; plants; paving; pavement preservation; and environment, health, safety and sustainability.
“We’re looking forward to bringing the asphalt paving industry back together in person,” said Show Manager Brittany Weltcheff. “There is tremendous value in face-to-face interactions and learning, and we’re thrilled to offer hands-on equipment and networking experiences in Nashville. The asphalt paving industry is always evolving, and there is no better place than World of Asphalt and AGG1 Academy for asphalt paving professionals to learn how to incorporate the latest into their businesses and skillsets.”
