A new rehabilitation hospital has broken ground in Peoria, Arizona, with the help of Adolfson and Peterson Construction (AP) and Callaway Architecture.
The three-story, custom-built hospital will sit on 1.5 ha (3.71 acres) and encompass 4564 m2 (49,128 sf). It will feature 40 patient beds, two high-tech physical therapy gyms, administrative offices, and dining and kitchen spaces, as well as various back-of-the-house support spaces. AP will manage a complete interior build-out, as well as all associated site work and utility services.
Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital Peoria will provide inpatient physical-medicine rehabilitation therapies using plans of care for patients in the area. The new hospital will offer superior inpatient rehabilitation care for people with illnesses and injuries such as stroke and brain injury, as well as other complex neurological and orthopedic conditions.
Located at 13451 North 94th Drive, the new hospital is expected to open its doors to patients later this year.
