Adolfson and Peterson Construction (AP) recently commemorated the topping-out milestone on their VariSpace Coppell office building project.

The new building will serve as the world headquarters for Vari, a Texas-based workspace innovation company. The company will occupy approximately 5574 m2 (60,000 sf) at VariSpace Coppell, with the remaining 11,148 m2 (120,000 sf) available for additional tenancy.

The 16,723 m2 (180,000 sf) corporate home will stand three stories tall on a 4 ha (10 acre) property with available surface parking. Amenities will include large exterior balconies, an open lobby concept, large open staircases, touch-free building applications, a fitness facility, and grab-and-go food services.

BOKA Powell designed the core, shell, and site for the project. Corgan Architects designed the building’s interiors.

“Construction is moving quickly, and we’re pleased to officially reach the midpoint of construction,” said Bob Lemke, vice-president of operations at AP. “Reaching this milestone alongside Vari, BOKA Powell, and Corgan is an exciting moment in the construction process, especially given the challenges of the past year. We have a dedicated team of individuals who share a vision of what the future holds in innovative flexible workspace.”

VariSpace Coppell is expected to open this summer.
