EXTECH’s LIGHTWALL 3440 translucent wall system features an advanced aluminum framing system and 40 or 50-mm (1.57 or 1.97-in) tongue and groove polycarbonate panels.  These panels can extend vertically up to 16.5 m (54 ft) long.

When combined with STRONGSPAN—a new mullion extrusion unique to the LIGHTWALL 3440 system—spans can extend even further—up to approximately 3.05 m (10 ft) depending on wind loading conditions.

STRONGSPAN is only minimally visible from the interior and has a continuous appearance from the exterior.

The LIGHTWALL 3440 offers impressive R-Value ranges of 3.5 to 4.2, depending on the glazing type; the glazing can be specified to be IR, AR, and in a variety of colors that offer different balances of light diffusion and insulation.

The system has unique double gasketing on the exterior and interior perimeter framing and deep rabbets for thermal expansion of the polycarbonate. Thermally broken framing (optional) can also be specified.

The LIGHTWALL 3440 is fully tested and code compliant. It has been used in a variety of applications, from historical renovations to award winning architectural designs.
