Mistakes made not humanizing, diversifying and attracting youth to the trades are well documented and disappointing to say the least. The focus now should be how we can create a more transparent, accountable and people focused industry in order to attract and retain the young talent that so far eludes us. How can we entice our youth to explore a career in the trades by modeling the positive changes we are making as an industry and ensure that every generation is welcomed and needed in order to create a sustainable future for construction.
