Related Midwest announced BOWA Construction and LR Contracting will co-lead construction of a residential high-rise building at 900 Randolph Street.
Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects, 900 Randolph is Fulton Market’s newest mixed-use development, featuring 300 apartments and an unprecedented suite of amenities, services, and more.
With experience in general contracting and construction management across various industries in Chicago, BOWA Construction is positioned to oversee the development of this project. It is the first high-rise building constructed under new Affordable Illinois legislation, with 80 percent market-rate and 20 percent affordable units.
BOWA Construction has previously partnered with Related Midwest on a wide variety of projects, including Lathrop Homes and the Taylor Street library and apartments. BOWA Construction is a certified MBE, as well as a member of the Illinois Black Chamber of Commerce, the Business Leadership Council, and the Chicagoland Associated General Contractors.
LR Contracting, a division of Related Midwest, is known for its work on both luxury and affordable properties throughout the Midwest, including the redevelopment of Lathrop Homes on Chicago’s north side, the residences of South Loop Luxury by Related, 340 on the Park condominiums, and Park Tower condominiums.
