Egnyte and Procore Team Up to Replace Outdated Processes in Construction

Egnyte, the business first security content platform, today announced an integration with Procore, a leading provider of construction management software, that will provide the construction industry with a better way to work that replaces the outdated, manual approach to accessing, changing, and reviewing files.

“Construction tech is gaining traction as companies in the field are dealing with a massive increase in the amount of data managed and shared with various stakeholders,” said Ronen Vengosh, VP of Platform and Ecosystem of Egnyte. “Now with two-way sync, anyone with granted access can share drawings, schedule updates, and access files stored in one central repository instantly on a smartphone, computer or tablet.”

The use of tablets and smartphones in the field has changed how information is exchanged on the jobsite, meaning less time in the trailers and more time in the field – resulting in higher efficiency. In order for this to happen, it is paramount that all employees are on the same page, and working on the most recent and latest set of data to avoid expensive errors and re-work.

By providing a first of its kind integration, our hope is to reduce the amount of time and money spent in an already “high risk, low margin” industry. With Egnyte and Procore, all documentation is securely stored in a central repository which helps with data retention, and closeout of a construction project.

“With this new integration our mutual customers have found great value and savings in the ability to automate the process of storing documents in both Procore and Egnyte, allowing both Procore and Egnyte users to share the same files in near real-time,” said Doug Gibson, Business Development Manager, Procore.
