Construction Business Owner (CBO) Magazine is thrilled to announce the opening of nominations for our annual celebration of some of the most hardworking professionals in the industry — our special section to honor Outstanding Women in Construction (OWIC). From general contractors to CEOs to specialty trade workers, we aim to showcase exceptional female professionals making significant advancements in the construction industry.
If you know a woman who is making a remarkable impact in the construction industry, we want to hear about her! Submit your nomination using the indicated form by Sept. 6, 2024. After the nomination period closes, we will select finalists who will be featured in both the print and online editions of Construction Business Owner Magazine.
Nomination Requirements
To ensure your nominee is considered, she must meet the following criteria:
- Employment: Must work in construction (including general contracting, subcontracting, specialty trades and other related fields) within the United States.
- Professional reputation: Respected by industry peers, leaders and clients (we love multiple submissions for a nominee!)
- Skills and leadership: Must demonstrate outstanding skills, leadership and/or management abilities.
- Contributions: Please indicate the professional contributions your nominee has made to their company, industry and/or community.
- There is no age requirement.
